About

Chrissie Cremers (1980) founded her own styling company Mint. Styling & Concepts during her last year at the Artemis Styling Academy (Amsterdam) in 2004. Since then, she started building a career in interior styling. Besides being trained visually at Artemis, she also acquired a solid verbal oriented skill set through her MA studies in Communications at the University of Amsterdam, where she majored in journalism and editing. Chrissie is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

After two years working as an interiors stylist in the residential field, Chrissie's interest evolved into conceptual-based photography styling. She started producing magazine features that were characterized by a fresh, graphic, humoristic and quirky approach. Soon her work was noticed and she was invited to work for ELLE Decoration UK - one of the world's leading interior magazines. She is still very honored that such an influential interior magazine was interested in her work. She has produced and styled six features for ELLE Decoration, which were sold to ELLE's all over the world, including Norway, Spain, France, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, Turkey and China.

After having worked for ELLE, Chrissie's focus has shifted more and more towards interior design. Having designed several architectural features such as staircases, bathrooms and kitchens, often also assuming the role of furniture designer, she grew more into the role of an interior designer rather than a stylist. In July 2010 Chrissie founded Space Innovators Collective. An interdisciplinary collective of Amsterdam based creatives, that aims to create spacial amazements for the commercial sector. Serving brands and organizations with their temporary or permanent spacial needs. Chrissie composes a creative team made to measure the specific requirements of that job, making Space Innovators into an ultimately flexible organization. Chrissie herself functions as team leader and project manager

The most recent addition to Chrissie's career has been that of working as a brand identity designer. Outsourcing herself as creative director to Dutch rug firm Perletta Carpets, she has been able to turn the entire brand identity of Perletta around with a firm and clear brand positioning amongst its competitors. Perletta's new brand identity was first introduced to the public in November 2009. In January 2011 Perletta gave a sneak preview of their yet to be launched Perletta Design Tool at the Intirio Fair in Gent (BE), which directly won 1st prize at the Intirio Awards in the Interior Concepts category. The tool was developed as a means for Perletta's latest collection Perletta Create, and helps you to easily create your own rug design.
Since August 2010 Chrissie has been working on the brand identity of formerly named jewellery brand Joes Company. Introducing a new brand identity and brand strategy – which puts greater emphasis on the social responsibility of the brand – under the name of I AM JAI in May 2011.
